Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about AppealCraft.

About the product

What is AppealCraft?

AppealCraft is a tool that generates structured appeal letters for marketplace sellers. You describe your situation, select your platform and issue type, and get a formatted letter ready to submit through the platform's official appeals process.

Is this a legal service?

No. AppealCraft is a letter-writing tool. It is not legal advice and does not replace a lawyer for serious cases. For complex legal matters, consult a qualified attorney.

Which platforms do you support?

Currently: Etsy, Amazon (Seller Central), eBay, Walmart Marketplace, Shopify Payments, and Facebook/Meta Shops. More platforms are being added regularly.

Does AppealCraft guarantee my appeal will succeed?

No. The outcome of any appeal depends on the platform's policies, the specific circumstances of your case, and the evidence you provide. AppealCraft gives you the best possible letter — the rest depends on the platform.

Pricing & payment

How does the free first letter work?

Sign in with Google or Facebook. On your first use, the letter is generated completely free. After that, each letter is $5 or you can subscribe for $19/mo unlimited.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can generate a letter without any account for $5. But signing in with Google or Facebook gives you a free first letter and saves your history.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Stripe is PCI-compliant and your card details are never stored on our servers.

What is the refund policy?

Full refund within 24 hours if the letter fails to generate due to a technical issue. No refund if the letter is generated but the appeal is rejected — the outcome depends on the platform, not the letter quality.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, anytime from your account settings. You'll keep access until the end of the billing period. No cancellation fees.

Using the letters

How do I submit the letter?

Each letter comes with platform-specific submission instructions. Generally: log in to the platform, find the appeals section, and paste or upload the letter. We include the exact navigation path for each platform.

My first appeal was rejected. What should I do?

First appeals are sometimes rejected without much review. If that happens, wait a day or two and try again — follow-up appeals are often reviewed more carefully. You can generate a new letter with updated information if needed.

Can I edit the letter before submitting?

Yes. The letter is delivered as text you can copy and edit. We recommend personalising it with specific details like your account name, exact dates, and order numbers if you didn't include them in the form.

Should I attach evidence with the letter?

Yes, always. The letter includes a Supporting Evidence section listing what to attach. Common evidence: invoices, tracking information, screenshots of the platform notice, photos of the item, communication records.

Privacy & security

What data do you store?

We store the information you enter in the form (your situation description, platform details) and the generated letter. We do not store payment card details — those are handled by Stripe. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Is my information shared with the marketplace?

No. AppealCraft has no integration with any marketplace. Your information is only used to generate your letter.
